Grants Awarded

Since the inception of the grants program in 2003, the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network has awarded funding to 56 scientists at prestigious biomedical research institutions across the United States. The research portfolio includes Innovative Grants (formerly Pilot Grants), Career Development Awards, Fellowship Awards, and beginning in 2010, the Pathway to Leadership Award.

This year alone, the organization awarded nine research grants, totaling nearly $2.3 million. The 2010 research investment represents an almost 90% increase in funding over last year.
