Cancer Control, Survivorship and Outcomes Research

Grants classified within this field of interest focus on the control of cancer, patient survivors, and outcomes. According to the Common Scientific Outline, these projects deal with one or more of the following research topics: (1) patient care and survivorship issues; (2) surveillance; (3) behavior; (4) cost analyses and health care delivery; (5) education and communication; (6) end-of-life care; (7) ethics and confidentiality in cancer research; (8) complementary and alternative approaches for supportive care of patients and survivors; and (9) resources and infrastructure related to cancer control, survivorship and outcomes research.
