TEAMHOPE®
TEAMHOPE provides an opportunity to participate in a variety of athletic events, while raising funds and awareness for the fight against pancreatic cancer. From beginners to seasoned athletes, TEAMHOPE provides a variety of options for every skill level. Watch TEAMHOPE in action!
Option 1: National Marathon Team
The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network establishes teams of runners and walkers for several marathons and half-marathons throughout the year. Participants receive race entry, the official TEAMHOPE running jersey, personal website with fundraising tools, comprehensive training, round-trip airfare, hotel accommodations, and team activities, including a pre-race pasta dinner and post-race victory lunch for a minimum fundraising requirement.
Option 2: Individual Program
This program allows runners and walkers from around the country to participate in the race of their choice as Hope Athletes or Hope Champions. Participants can sign up as an individual or form a team of family and friends!

14 Marathons in 13 Weeks
Running a marathon can be a life-changing experience. For Hideki Kinoshita, it is also about saving lives.
Hideki, a 30-year-old engineering consultant from New Jersey, is all too familiar with pancreatic cancer. “My Uncle died of pancreatic cancer and when my girlfriend’s mother died of the same disease just months after being diagnosed, I felt I needed to do something,” Hideki said. “This is my way of making a difference.” Hideki decided to use his passion for running to raise awareness and support for the disease in an extraordinary way. In November 2009, he completed his goal of running an amazing 14 marathons in 13 weeks. His efforts have raised over $10,000 to date, and his story, covered by several newspapers, has raised much awareness about the disease.
Whether it’s your first marathon, or your fourteenth, join the fight and train for a cause that will motivate you every step of the 26.2 miles.
